I am a big fan of American pit bull terriers and american stafforshire terriers. I have have had two APBT's, currently still with one of them. I have worked with the breeds for several years in BSL and breed education with a local shelter. The breed is unfortunate to have gotten the rap of the 'pit bull' even though they are carry the best traits in most dog breeds. People are ignorant when it comes to any and lal bully breed dogs, assuming that they are all bad and out to kill when it's just not true. My APBT sleeps in my bed.



The breed once held all the characteristics that defined out country, dignity, strength, loyalty, and more. But, today people see them and run the other direction. There was a reason the Petey on The Little Rascals was an APBT, and not a collie like Lassie. These dogs were bred and raised for DOG aggression NOT human aggression. It's in their blood to be the best human pets.
