Can you max out a trucks payload and towing capacity? Example: bricks in the truck bed - maximum payload and a trailer that weighs the maximum weight for towing. Is it one or the other? Does it hurt the suspension?Can you max out both your payload and towing capability and the truck travel fine?
No you should not do this. The tong weight of the trailer counts as part of you payload since the rear axil must support this weight. If you max out the payload in the bed then add the trailer you will overload the rear suspension and eventually something will break. Also your breaking system is not rated to stop that much of a load.
