Is there any way to increase the towing capacity of a dodge charger?

I have a dodge charger that has a 2000lb towing capacity and I want to be able to tow a 2300lb boat safely without dumping out a bucket of money for it.Is there any way to increase the towing capacity of a dodge charger?
you can use a spring booster on it that's about the cheapest way to do that,300 pounds isn't going to be that much different, you really need a truck for towing, a charger isn't a good vehicle to tow with, good luck.
If the boat weighs 2300 lbs by itself, then when you add the weight of the trailer, boat fuel, and miscellaneous items stored on board the boat, you're probably talking closer to 4000 lbs. That's too much weight for a car rated at towing only 2000 lbs.Is there any way to increase the towing capacity of a dodge charger?
If your key word is "Safely" then I'm afraid my only suggestion is to use a different vehicle.

Sure, you could install air bags to supplement the rear suspension, perhaps even look into changing the gear ratio of the differential to increase the torque, but you'd still have an issue with braking.

Most people find that you can tow a trailer at or above your recommended weight threshold fairly well on flat terrain, but run into serious trouble when it comes time to slow down and stop. A trailer at the weight you specify isn't required to have it's own brakes and that only makes matters worse.

With a boat you've got the added issue of hauling a boat up a launch ramp. A steep slope and your car can end up in the drink...I've seen it happen.

Best of luck to you.
I would strongly advise not to tow with a car.

#1 it stresses your engine and transmission

#2 it stresses on your car's frame.

It's not made for towing, especially a boat.

Go to a small SUV.

They make them with a Tow cap for when people have no choice and have small cargo to haul behind the car.

That's why a hitch is NEVER offered on a new car.

Your choice to do something that the manufacturer does not support, it's YOUR liabilityIs there any way to increase the towing capacity of a dodge charger?
I really don't think 300lbs is going to make much of a difference. That's like adding 2 people to your car. If you and your buddy take the boat out and you don't pack the car full as well, you should be OK. I'm guessing your only doing this once or twice a month, the most. You really should invest in a truck for towing. Right now, I use a 96' Crown Victoria to tow my quads, and it works well enough for now. But I'm also looking for a truck to tow with because of ground clearance issues.

BTW: New cars are sold with tow packages, but they usually have full frames and healthy V-8's
