Can you sue a towing company if wrongfully towed?

So I got a sticker on my car saying that if i dont update the tabs then it will be towed at my expense.. I'm going to update the tabs right now within the 36hrs that it was stated it had to be done by. But im thinking about leaving the sticker on the car and hoping they tow it without rechecking the tabs.. then I'd sue them for wrongful towing.. (I'm very vengeful)

Would i have a valid case? Can you sue a towing company if wrongfully towed?
The towing company does not drive around all day looking for cars with this sticker. They come out after they are notified that a car has had the sticker for over the 36 hours, and still does not display the proper tabs (just getting the tabs is not enough - they must also be displayed).

Will you have a case? No, because you will not get towed if you have the tabs on your license plates within the 36 hours.
Nope, it would be towed AT YOUR EXPENSE. The towing company was hired to tow the car, and they don't check the tabs. They didn't put the notice on your car either. It would be like suing a trucking company because the store sold you a bad peach when you know the peach was sent in from out of State. Can you sue a towing company if wrongfully towed?
There's no such thing as wrongful towing. If you try to trick the towing company into towing your car then you'll have to pay the towing fee and the storage fee, that's it.
A 'towing' company only tows a vehicle AFTER they have been notified by a police officer...therefore, YOU can NOT sue a towing company - they are just doing their job and by the instructions of your local police department. Can you sue a towing company if wrongfully towed?
That would be the police and no.
