My car got towed nearly two months ago or about so, i am active military and was away during that period. I come back attempting to get my car which was towed from MY VERY OWN PARKING SPACE! only to find out that the towing company had sold my vehicle, is this legal? Is there anything i could do??How many days can your car sit in the towing yard before the company is authorized to get rid of or sell it?
You say it is your parking space...if it was on private property, you can sue the owner of the property...he had to have called the tow company. If it wasn't on private property, then it wasn't your space at all....
