After car accident my total car was taken into a towing lot, after weeks of fighting with insurance companies, I got a lawyer, who is trying to get compensation for the damages ( i didnt have collision coverages in it, and the other person's insurance who was found at fault for the accident won't honor my car)How do i get rid off a total car that is at a towing service center without paying too much?
Look for a local metal recycler. Most will still pay around $100 for a car body. Although you may only break even at that point after paying for a tow to drop it off. Better than paying a storage fee though,How do i get rid off a total car that is at a towing service center without paying too much?
If you got a lawyer.I would leave it in his hands to deal with the insurance company tell him to add his fees to the claim so you don't lose out.Just keep bugging the lawyer at least once a week for updates.It could take a few months.
