What do i need to check when buying a car from towing company?

I found a car that priced 1/2 of the KBB price and I don't know if it's a scam or a good deal! The car wasn't registered for 2 years and it's in a towing company yard right now the towing company owner told me he has all the relevant papers.

What I need to check for?

Then check and see if it has a salvaged title.



Also do a Car Fax.



Has the car been in accidents? Maybe a bent frame? Flooded?

check for the condition of the car. bring a mechanic if you can and let him inspect it. also check with your local dmv to see what else you need in paperwork and fees to pay before taking ownership of the vehicle...What do i need to check when buying a car from towing company?
Just be sure he has the Title....as another answerer said, you need to talk to the DMV BEFORE you purchase the car because there are times when the Title becomes a problem for reasons too long to go into here....see the DMV FIRST! Good Luck!!!
