Is unlawful towing of my car by property manager sufficient to break the lease with out termination fees?

My car was unlawfully towed from the apartment parking space reserved for me and paid by me by the property manager. (Says the towing order was a clerical mistake). Is this reason sufficient to break the lease without paying early termination penalties? Or am I eligible to claim compensation? Is unlawful towing of my car by property manager sufficient to break the lease with out termination fees?
It should not be. But that is up to the judge. You have to sue, claiming this is a breach of your contract.
Most of the time a landlord would require the make of your vehicle, license plate registration so as to prevent this type mistake. They would also require of you to provide this information in the event you purchase another car.

If the landlord did not pay for the tow and storage, in this case you might be able to get reimbursement because of the mistake your landlord made. You might would want to give your landlord a written document that you would expect compensation for your inconvenience.

This is probably not a reason to break the lease.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

"FIGHT ON"Is unlawful towing of my car by property manager sufficient to break the lease with out termination fees?
No, this is not sufficient reason to break your lease. There is something else going on, and you're hoping that this technicality will get you off; it won't.

You should, however, not be charged for any fees associates with the towing if it really was the PMs fault.
It sounds like you are looking for a reason to terminate your lease and move. The only thing they owe you for is any cost you might have incurred to get your car out of impound.

There is no basis for you to claim any other kind of compensation. Is unlawful towing of my car by property manager sufficient to break the lease with out termination fees?
Sorry but your parking contract is separate from your apartment lease (usually). They should pay for the tow since they admitted it was a mistake.
NOPE not sufficient to break lease

YES they must reimburse your costs. . . towing bill, cabs, carfare
No, but naturally you shouldn't be out of pocket any money. Mistakes happen and as long as they fix it then you've been nothing but inconvenienced.
