What is the difference between bully sticks and rawhide for a dog?

Unlike rawhides, bully sticks are digestible, and therefore much safer, for your dog. A rawhide can get lodged inside a dog's intestine and require surgical intervention to remove it, therefore I always give my dogs bully sticks instead.What is the difference between bully sticks and rawhide for a dog?
