It depends on the kind of dog. Maybe it is a dog that is protective. But if it isn't, I wouldn't be worried. Maybe it's hurt or is just more protective because he loves him family. You never know! Cats mostly don't like other cats, but not all dogs are super friendly. It may have been one of the dogs that were bred to fight earlier on. I'd read a little more about the breed, but if you really are concerned, see a vet because something might be bothering him mentally or he may just be afraid so he acts in a mean way. If he's not actually hurting other animals then keep him. That's just what they do. Good luck!
Trust me, your dog is NOT happy; he doesn't have any social manners with dogs, with people yes. He needs to be re-introduced with dogs again, and to learn how to act with other dogs.

Make your dog give his rear first *less dominant* - its going to take some time to properly get him used to being around dogs again.

Train train train. My dogs would love it if I did whatever they wanted whenever they wanted. By enrolling in a training class with other dogs around, he'll be able to learn and be around other dogs. Even though your dog is happy with you as his human he does need to know how to be around other dogs and will be even happier for it, especially if you're able to take him to a pet park with other dogs where he can play with them. Humans just don't play the same as other dogs to each other although they love us.
No it will only get worse that way please get help he is not happy. If he bites some one that is a liability.
