I have a dog that bully's my timid dog. What can I do to stop her.?

I have 5 dogs and two cats how can I help them get alongI have a dog that bully's my timid dog. What can I do to stop her.?

It may be their way of playing.
Five dogs is a lot. I would suggest obedience classes so they learn you are the leader and none of them are, so the bullying would stop, but that would be quite expensive and time consuming.

Has the timid dog always been timid?



The best way to rid yourself of this situation is by showing the Bully you are the "big dog" once the timid dog sees this it's instinct would be to follow the lead dog. Next time your bully "bully's" try getting the bully in a submissive position and allow the timid dog and the other 3 dogs sniff the bully. This will do two things 1) the bully will now see you as the leader 2) the other dogs will too. Then you will have a well balanced pack. The reason why the bully is "acting" out is because he/she has no guidance from you therefore the bully take upon his/her self to discipline the others.
