What are the consequences if I leave my totaled car at the towing lot?

What would happen if I just abandon the car instead of paying the storage fees and what not to get the car back? They are asking for 400 something dollars and the totaled car is not worth that much! Also do not have the title to the car anymore, so I cant sell it for parts or sign the title to the towing company. So what kind of trouble am I getting into?What are the consequences if I leave my totaled car at the towing lot?
tow companies are always run by slimey creepy people that live by ripping people off.



But anyway, you can prob sell it to a junk yard for at least $200. more depending on the model. i just sold 93 blazer the a junk yard for 300 and cam and towed it away. but you said you had no title , opp`s send them a letter explaining that you are giving them the car and they can sell it.. and sign it. on another sheet of paper explain that you have no money, no job, and are being evicted from your apt. .What are the consequences if I leave my totaled car at the towing lot?
if you don't have a loan in it? you will be responsible for towing and storage fees. they we sell the car and you have to pay the rest. If you don't pay right away it will go to a collection agent. and maybe even a judgment. So it may end up a bad mark on your credit score too. If you tell the tow yard they can have it might not cost you anything but the price of the tow, because they now going after you will be more money then its worth
