Can I leave my dog alone with a bully stick?

I feel bad when we're at work and she's home bored.. I got her a bully stick (which everyone says is FAR safer than rawhide). She LOVES it. But I'm a little worried about leaving her alone with it... We monitored her for a few hours last night with it and she was fine. What do you think...Can I leave my dog alone with a bully stick?
If you are in any doubt, don't. I'd hate to say fine, do it, and then have your dog choke. Yes, they are safer than rawhides, or pigs ears etc. but if it was me, I'd not risk it - it only takes one time when you are not there.
I have Yorkies and have never had any choking problems with bully sticks. I did buy a pretzel shaped one once and it became lodged in the teeth and jaw so now I stick with the plain sticks with no braiding. Just make sure you buy one in a size appropriate for your dog. The larger the better and discard it once it becomes small enough to be a choking hazard.

Unlike rawhide treats, bully sticks are made from the beef of the cow, not the hide, allowing for it to be digested and processed by the dog as it would their food instead of passing it through their system like rawhide.

With rawhide you have to be wary of the choking hazard from broken pieces, bully sticks are easily digested by breeds both large and small and won鈥檛 chip and break to present a choking hazard like rawhide. Can I leave my dog alone with a bully stick?
Truthfully you should never leave them alone with anything they can choke on. Chances are she will be fine but honestly you shouldn't. Plenty of dogs stay home in their crates all day without treats. Leaving a few toys that can't be torn or ripped up is a better option.
I think she'll be Ok.Can I leave my dog alone with a bully stick?
i think that she will be fine.. it'll keep her from destroying other things
