How much of a tip would you have left? Here is the situation, we were at a new years party..?

We paid $90.00 a person which included an appetizer a nice surf and turf dinner and desert....oh yeah and unlimited drinks from 8pm to 1am.

Picture this place to be LIKE a TGI Fridays, applebees, ruby tuesday type place.

There were 6 of us total so we paid the $540.00 up front. We each got on average 8 drinks.

Since we didnt order anything else off the menu than what came with our package at the end of the night she brought us a bill that was zero dollars. Well it had $540.00 pre-paid and no other charges.

So how much of a tip would you have left?

The waitress was fine, nothing great nothing bad, just normal. How much of a tip would you have left? Here is the situation, we were at a new years party..?
if your waitress had to bring you the food then 20% $108 dollars. Also remember it's a holiday for her too and i'm sure she didn't want to spend it getting your drinks so that should add into your tipHow much of a tip would you have left? Here is the situation, we were at a new years party..?
A $75 tip in TOTAL for the six of you.. After all you had drinks, without the waitress servin you promptly, you would not have had it as you please. It is nice to appreciate and acknowledge it.

Incidentally, $12 per head works out to approx. 13% , which is normal.
$80 would have been 15%

$105 would have been 20%

You described adequate service, so $80.00 would have been sufficient. How much of a tip would you have left? Here is the situation, we were at a new years party..?
When there's a 'cover charge' the service staff each make a percentage of what's collected...so you're fine on the 540.00 bill. But your tip should have been at least 15% of your total drink bill.
$50.00 between the 6 of you just for the waitress, which is tough workHow much of a tip would you have left? Here is the situation, we were at a new years party..?
for 540.00 10 to 15%
Usually when packages like that are advertised there will be a statement like "does not include tax or gratuity" or something similar. That is the head's up that you're expected to tip your server. Since I don't know where you saw the package, I can't guide you on that. But for the price of the dinner and the length of time you were there, assuming you didn't change shifts and get a new waiter in the middle, I think 10-15% would have been good (since the meal was package and not really personalized). If you paid separately for the drinks, you should have tipped for that.
