How would I go about improving the torque and towing power of my 2001 2wd dodge dakota?

I was wondering what is the best way of improving the torque and the towing power of my 2001 3.9L V6 rear wheel drive dodge dakota? How would I go about improving the torque and towing power of my 2001 2wd dodge dakota?
There really is not a lot you can change. Changing gears will not help any. You can do a new air intake, and new free flow exhaust, but that is about it.How would I go about improving the torque and towing power of my 2001 2wd dodge dakota?
the cheapest way is to change the gear ratio on it,that wil increase the low end torque on it,it wont help you none on top end though, good luck. How would I go about improving the torque and towing power of my 2001 2wd dodge dakota?
rear gear change.youll get the power to the wheels quicker.id be more worried about stopping it though.
