Bully dog owners do you have this problem?

Are your dogs 'chow hounds'? To quote a phrase. I believe in rules, boundaries and limitations.

My dogs are taught to stay out of the kitchen when given a command, to stay AWAY from any human eating on the couch.....

But my American Pit Bull Terrier (Ms. Launi) has been pushing the limit. We had a 'show down' last night when SHE insisted SHE was not going to adhere to the rules while my daughter was eating popcorn and watching TV. All the other dogs were doing what they were taught.

I had to give her a serious correction. She ended up in the other room. Didn't dare venture any closer. (I do not believe in closing doors or kenneling the animals. They know the rules.)

So, just out of curiosity, is this a problem for anyone else especially the bullies?Bully dog owners do you have this problem?
All my dogs are chow hounds, that's why I don't believe in free feeding because I know I would have 10 overweight dogs if I did. We have to keep the laundry room door closed because that's where their food is, and my youngest weim kira has learned to open both containers, one is a spin air tight top, and they other is just a latch. My dad accidentally left a food bag in their path and they ate a hole in it. I got it before it made too much of a mess. My susie vacuumed what fell on the floor. My guys know their limits, but food is too tempting. They know they are not suppose to be in the dining room when we are eating, they only one that is is my older male because he does not bother us. They girls are to sit in the living room or florida room. The thresholds are their boundaries. It is hard for my mom when she is the only one there because she can't do it alone. I am not home at the moment, will be friday so they dogs will really get their butts whooped so to speak not literally. They are also not to be in the kitchen when dishes are being done.

My youngest bullies are downstairs because it is easier to get them into the back yard, we don't have a deck yet, and the stairs are steep. So they don't add to it. They do bark when we are getting their food ready but other than that they are great. Susie is in her crate during dinner time, I have no problems crating my dogs.

Bullies are bullheaded and stubborn, they will push the limits when they want to no matter how much training you do. Frenchies are no different.
Not to that extent. They are very stubborn, but in this case you have a dog that is questioning your leadership, and alpha status. It is good that you removed her, and "put her in her place". It looks to me like your female is going to need some tough love. You have to reinforce you are the dominant one. Eat first in front of her, don't ever let her win when playing a game, and be very strict with her. Don't let her get away with ignoring you or disobeying a command.

Our last dog did that once, ONCE, and he learned that earned him a time out. It is good that you are working so hard to make your dogs such model citizens. Keep up the good work.Bully dog owners do you have this problem?
The answer to the question is that a normal habitat of a Micronesia, Federated States of or South Korea Dogs is verdant and blazing, not different your classic Mayotte Dogs' habitat

Well...I don't know what Percy is mixed with, but you said once you thought he looked like he might have some Bully in him. He's a total chowhound...it drives me nuts. If I tell him no or leave it he's pretty good, but if I turn my back and there is a empty bowl needing licking he finds it.

He's gotten much better with getting out of the living room (even when companies over). I make him lay on the kitchen floor to calm his bones. It's hard to train him though when you live with someone who's default is 'lock him away', because then he's not learning ANYTHING.
I taught my boy early on to park himself on his rug if anyone is eating. If people are just snacking he'll shuffle around waiting for something to fall. This doesn't bother me as he's not really pushy. With an actual meal he needs to go to his spot.

Over the past few years as I've become lax with the rules at times...he will certainly test the waters. If I look up and keep eye contact,he will back pedal to his rug and sit.If he's been particularly pushy I keep eye contact and he lays down and looks away.

I've been pretty fortunate in that he's always been an easy dog to work with.I've not really ever used physical correction with him(it certainly has it's place in training...this dog just hasn't required it). He's really willing to please and pretty sharp. He can certainly be a stubborn @ss at times and will try to seize an opportunity if it presents itself...
